Well, I guess I changed the tagline of my blog a little too early.
For those reading on their dashboards, it used to be “Tales of bad dates, elephant rides and life after college on the Indian subcontinent”. But then I only went on like two elephant rides, and never wrote any tales about them. And my bad dates were getting fewer and further between, and I wasn’t really...

365 Photo Project: Week Two
Well this week I had some trouble posting because I was in the countryside for our orientation and we didn’t have internet. The upside was that the gorgeous scenery and natural light made it easy to take make up pictures and catch up to the date.
Fingers crossed, from Monday I’ll be able to post more regularly. I also got the idea from a friend to make a stop-motion animation with...

365 Photo Project: One week in...
Well, like all of the best laid plans, I got a little behind on photo posts towards the end of the week. And I would still at some point like to catch up with the calendar date (because I like the symmetry). Maybe next week, when I’m taking photos at our orientation, I’ll be able to post more.

Sleep-deprived Crazy Idea or...
creative start to the new year? I just read about Positively Present’s 365 photo challenge, and I’m getting inspired to participate. I think I’ll take my camera to work today, and give it a try. Maybe this can be a part of my new year’s intention to be more present…

Fun Facts About Jet Lag
In the early days of jet lag, some people will suggest you attempt to correct jet lag by forcing yourself to stay up late. These ideas are good in theory. However, you might just overshoot and stay up til 4 am, sleep until 4 pm, and then be unable to sleep the next night and thus be completely screwed for work the next day.

Well, I’m back with a bang. Back to riding on bikes at night. Remembering how to dance salsa in an empty bar. Eating brunch at four in the afternoon. Back to all the strange wonderful things that India brings.
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes.
Because if you are making...
